MARCO'S SCHOOL CHALLENGE

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

OFFERED IN THE NORTHEAST OHIO AREA

CONTEST DESCRIPTION:

The Marcos School Challenge (“Fundraiser” or “Program” or “Contest”) will begin at 12:00 AM on October 1^st 2026 and end at 11:59 PM on April 30, 2027. (“Contest Period”). This Contest will be conducted to promote online sales at marcos.com, but participating orders may be made online, by phone or in person. The Fundraiser is offered to eligible and participating schools in Cuyahoga, Lake, Medina, Portage, Ashland, Stark and Richland Counties of Ohio (the “Northeast Ohio”). Each month during the Contest, the three schools with the most accumulated Pizza Points in the Northeast Ohio will win a $300.00 Monthly Prize.  Each eligible school is limited to one Monthly Prize during the Contest Period.

At the end of the Contest Period, the Pizza Points will be tallied and the school in Northeast Ohio with the most Pizza Points earned will receive one of the following prizes, according to the ranking of Pizza Points:

In the event of a tie, the school with the most points awarded during the final month of the contest shall be the winner.

1. Eligible schools will be listed on your local Marco’s Pizza Online Ordering site under the Online Challenge tab. To find your local ordering site, visit marcos.com.
2. When parents/friends/neighbors order online from Marco’s Pizza, they must click ADD, under Earn Cash for Your School, for each eligible order.
3. Qualifying Orders: An online order must be completed with all required information provided online during the order process. Orders made by Call-in or as a Walk-in will be accepted only on a designated “Marco’s Pizza Night Fundraiser ” for that school, and require notification by the person making the order at the time of purchase that the order is for their school. Full payment must be received by Marco’s before an order will qualify.
4. All Qualifying Orders will earn Pizza Points for the selected school.  Each school will be assigned an Order Factor, based on the number of enrolled students, so each participating school has an equal opportunity to win prizes. The participating school with the most students enrolled will have an Order Factor of 1. All other Order Factors for participating schools will be calculated by dividing the number of enrolled students in that school by the number of enrolled students of the biggest school.
   1. Online Order: 5 Online Pizza Points are awarded for each qualified online order multiplied by the school’s Order Factor to determine the total Pizza Points awarded for that Online order.
   2. Call-In Or Walk-In Order: 2.5 Pizza Points are awarded for each qualified call-in or walk-in order multiplied by the school’s Order Factor to determine the total Pizza Points awarded for that order.
5. Once the Qualifying Order is completed and payment received, the appropriate Pizza Points will be awarded to the School account.
6. School Pizza Party prize consists of 1 slice of pizza for each student at the winning school, plates, napkins and cups.

EXAMPLE:

1. Order Factors may be adjusted throughout the school year as new schools enter the challenge. Order factors will be adjusted and made retroactive to the first day of the month the new school enters the challenge.
2. Not all schools will be listed on every Marco’s Location.
3. Not all Marco’s Pizza Locations are participating.
4. Student Count will be verified by a Marco’s Pizza Representative prior to the start of the Challenge and as new schools enter the Challenge throughout year.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

1. Schools that win the 1st place prize will be handicapped at 2 points per online order and 1 point per call-in or walk-in order for the next 2 consecutive school years.
2. Eligible schools/organizations are public and private not-for-profit schools with 100 or more students, Kindergarten through grade 8, that comply with laws and regulations in the State of Ohio and which are located in the counties listed above in the Northeast Ohio Area. Eligibility will be determined at the sole discretion of Marco’s Pizza.
3. Customers, schools and their enrolled students agree to abide with any applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations.
4. Any Marco’s Pizza locations that do not accept on-line ordering will not be counted for purposes of this contest. Maximum of four Qualifying Orders per pick up customer or delivery address per day will be counted towards the Marcos.com School Challenge.
5. Delivery orders must meet the minimum of $7.99 order to be counted towards the Marcos School Challenge.
6. Orders delivered or picked up after April 30, 2027 will not count toward the Marcos.com School Challenge.

PRIZES:

1. If a winning school or PTA/PTO or like organization is unable to accept the prize, or the prize is undeliverable within 30 days, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
2. No substitution of prize is offered; no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted.
3. All cash prizes won will be awarded in the form of a check.
4. Prizes will be awarded only upon winner verification and final approval by Marco’s Pizza.  Each winning school will be notified by email, mail and/or phone within seven (7) days after being selected (e.g., date of Point Tally). Each winning school will then have thirty (30) days to respond with their information.
5. LIST OF WINNERS: To obtain a winner's list, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Marcos.com School Challenge, 430 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls Ohio 44221.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Winning schools are responsible for applicable taxes, if any, and or reporting associated with the receipt of the prize (prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged).
2. Contest is void where prohibited. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations.
3. By participating in the Contest, the winning schools agree to have their name, information, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest, in any media now known or hereafter devised for advertising or promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.  By entering this Contest, each participant agrees to comply with these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of Marco’s Pizza, which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the Contest.  Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. 
4. Marco’s Pizza reserves the right to modify these rules during the Contest Period in order to achieve a fair result in the spirit of the program, and also reserves the right to disqualify any purchase or school if all Contest rules are not followed.  If for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, any suspected evidence of tampering or technological corruption or if any portion of the Contest is compromised by virus, bugs, worms or unauthorized human intervention, an insufficient number of qualified Contest entries, or any other causes beyond Marco’s Pizza’s control which, in their sole opinion, corrupts, threatens or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Marco’s Pizza reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest at its sole discretion.
5. By participating in the Contest and accepting the prize, the winning school and its enrolled students acknowledge that Marco’s Pizza, its franchisees, employees, agents or assigns have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize or to any portion thereof, including but not limited to its quality, condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Any information collected by registering to enter the Contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Official Contest Rules.
7. Marco’s Pizza, agents and employees are not responsible for the inability of any contestant to complete or continue any purchase due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP) or other connections, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of eligible purchases, including any injury or damage to any computer arising from or relating to participation in this Promotion. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries, and may subject that entrant to disqualification.  Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are may be considered as void.
8. Any attempt by a purchaser to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Marco’s Pizza reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney's fees) from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.
